Past perfect

Gebruik
Om een handeling of situatie te beschrijven die plaats vond vóór een bepaald moment in het verleden.

Vorm
–> bij regelmatige werkwoorden: had werkwoord + -ed
–> bij onregelmatige werkwoorden had + de vorm die hoort bij het voltooid deelwoord van het werkwoord (zie onregelmatige werkwoorden, 3e rij)
